What are the different methods to create a website?

You can build your website with the blog feature or the funnel feature. Publishing regularly with many pages? Use a blog. A simple site with a few pages? A funnel works well.

1. A website with the blog feature

You will need your domain connected to SleepPRO™ (see How to connect your domain to SleepPRO™) and a blog (see How to set up your blog).

Step 1: add your pages

1. Go to Sites, then Blogs, and click your blog's title.
2. Open Pages and click Create.
3. Enter the page name and URL path, and click Create a blog page.

Your blog starts with default pages such as Home, About, Posts and Contact. Edit them or add more. See How to create a blog page.

Step 2: make your blog home page your website home page

1. Click the three dots next to your blog, then Settings.
2. Empty the URL path and click Save.

Step 3: set up your menu

1. Click Blog layout.
2. Click the Menu element to edit, delete or add items. Items can be blog pages, posts or other web addresses. Add an item for each page, so parents can reach everything from the home page.

Menu options include the title, link type (blog link or custom URL), the link itself, opening in a new window, delete, submenus, add item and the arrows to reorder. See How to create a blog menu.

To keep the menu on screen while scrolling, click the section with the menu, scroll to Sticky, tick Do you want this to always be visible (sticky)?, choose top or bottom and set the indent.

Step 4: design your pages

Click Edit or the page name to open the editor. Remove what you do not need and adjust the rest. Click an element to change its typography, color, size and position. Drag in new elements such as images, audio or video, for example a short welcome video about how you help families.

2. A website with the funnel feature

You will need your domain connected and a funnel. See How to create a funnel. Each funnel page becomes a page of your website. Up to five pages works well.

Step 1: create your pages

1. Open your funnel and click Add step.
2. Enter the page title, choose the type and click Save.
3. Click Select on a template and design your page.

Step 2: choose your home page

Open the page you want as your home page and empty its URL path.

Step 3: add a menu

1. Open your home page in the editor and drag the Menu element onto it.
2. Copy the URL of each funnel page, such as your About page.
3. Click the Menu element, click Add menu item, type the title and paste the URL.
4. Repeat for every page. Delete items with the trash icon and reorder with the arrows.
