How to configure a button

Every button needs to know what to do when a parent clicks it. Here is how to set it up.

1. Drag the Button element from the left panel onto your page.
2. Click the settings icon.
3. Choose the action when the button is clicked.

Button actions

• Submit form: saves the parent as a contact and takes them to the next step of your funnel. You can have several Submit form buttons on one page. They need the same fields and they start the same automation rules.
• Show popup: opens a popup you made in the page editor. Create the popup first, see How to add a popup to a page.
• Open URL: sends the parent to the web address you enter, in the same tab or a new one.
• Next step URL: takes the parent to the next step of your funnel.
• Download file: lets the parent download a file, such as your free sleep guide. Click the upload icon to choose the file.
