How to integrate Flutterwave with SleepPRO™
Payment gateways
Here is how to connect Flutterwave, a payment provider for businesses in Africa.
You will need a Flutterwave account.
1. Connect Flutterwave
- Click your profile picture, then Settings.
- Click Payment gateways, then Connect next to Flutterwave.
- Enter your Flutterwave credentials and click Save.
To find them, log in to Flutterwave, go to Settings, then API Keys, and generate and copy your API public key, API secret key and API encryption key. You can also go straight to app.flutterwave.com/dashboard/settings/apis/live.
2. Set up webhooks
- Copy the webhook URL and secret from the Flutterwave section in SleepPRO™.
- In Flutterwave, go to Settings, then Webhooks. You can also go to app.flutterwave.com/dashboard/settings/webhooks/live.
- Paste the webhook URL and secret, and click Save.
- Tick:
- Receive a webhook response in JSON format
- Enable webhook retries
- Enable webhook for failed transactions
- Enable V3 webhooks
Tick these boxes yourself. They are not on by default, and SleepPRO™ needs them to record payments and give customers access.
Refunds are off by default with Flutterwave. Contact Flutterwave support to turn them on.
Payments fail without the Email field on your order form.
3. Currencies and restrictions
- Buyers: Africa and international.
- Subscriptions: yes.
- Currencies: CAD, CLP, COP, EGP, EUR, GBP, GHS, GNF, KES, MAD, MWK, NGN, RWF, SAR, SLL, STD, TZS, UGX, USD, XAF, XOF, ZAR and ZMW.
- Your Flutterwave account must be registered in an African country.
When a payment fails
After the first attempt, Flutterwave tries three more times, 30 minutes apart. You cannot change this delay.
