How to edit the post list page
Blogs
Your Post list page is where parents browse all your posts. You can change its style, its layout and what shows for each post.
Open the Post list page
- Go to the Sites tab, click Blogs, then click your blog's name.
- Click Pages. Find Post list page, click the three dots and choose Edit.
In the left panel, under Blog, you will find these elements:
- Category title: replaced automatically by the name of the category a parent is viewing.
- Category description: replaced automatically by the description of this category.
- Blog post listing: the list of your posts. For each post it shows the category, title, publication date and short description, taken from what you entered when you created the post.
Customize the post listing
Click the blog post listing element, or use the settings panel, to change:
- The number of posts per page and the vertical spacing.
- The listing layout.
- The post card: image position, background color, shadow, style and padding.
- The image: shadow, corner radius and margin.
- Title, description and categories: font size, type, style, color, alignment, letter spacing and margin.
To show or hide the post date, tick or untick Show date? in the Date section.
Customize pagination
When you have more posts than fit on one page, parents use page numbers to move through your blog. Set different colors for the active and inactive page so parents always know where they are.
Add your latest posts
Add the Latest blog posts element to show your newest posts. You can set how many to show, the spacing, horizontal display, image style, text style, and whether the date shows.
Prefer a sliding display? Use the Latest blog posts carousel element. The guide How to use the blog post carousel walks you through it.
