How to connect your Cloudflare subdomain to SleepPRO™

Connect a domain

Here is how to connect a subdomain of a domain at Cloudflare, such as courses.yoursleepbusiness.com.

First add your subdomain in SleepPRO™, as described in step 1 of Integrating your subdomain with SleepPRO™. Each subdomain gets its own CNAME records.

First CNAME record

  1. In Cloudflare, go to DNS and open the Records tab of your domain.
  2. Click Add record and choose CNAME.
  3. Enter your subdomain, such as courses, in Name.
  4. Enter the first value from SleepPRO™, ending in cloudfront.net, in Target.
  5. Set the proxy status to DNS only (grey cloud) and click Save.
A CNAME record with this name already there? Edit its value instead.

Second CNAME record

  1. Add another CNAME record.
  2. In Name, paste the code from SleepPRO™ which comes before your domain, starting with an underscore and ending with your subdomain.
  3. In Target, enter the second value from SleepPRO™, ending in acm-validations.aws.
  4. Set the proxy status to DNS only and click Save.

Check your records

Go to dnschecker.org and enter the full name of each record, including your domain. You should see your value with a green tick. If not, review your DNS settings.

DNS changes take 24 to 48 hours to spread fully.
If Cloudflare will not save a record because of a conflict, usually with the first CNAME, ask Cloudflare support whether the existing record is needed or can be removed.
Still stuck? We are here for you.

SleepPRO™ support is available 24/7 and usually replies within 12 hours, often sooner.
