How to use the SleepPRO™ webhook service
Integrations
Webhooks send information from SleepPRO™ to another tool the moment something happens, such as a new sale or a new subscriber. They help you connect SleepPRO™ with your other tools and automate tasks.
Set up a webhook
- Click your profile picture, then Settings.
- Click Webhooks, then Create.
- Enter a name, the webhook URL where the data should go, and your webhook's secret key.
- Use the Active switch to turn the webhook on or off.
- Choose the events which send data, and click Save.
The receiving address must be a secure HTTPS address able to handle these requests.
Events you can choose
- Contact created: a new contact is added.
- Contact tag added: a tag is added to a contact.
- Contact tag removed: a tag is removed from a contact.
- Opt-in: a contact signs up through a form.
- New sale: a customer buys, in a funnel or creator store.
- Sale canceled: a subscription is canceled or a one-time payment is refunded, in a funnel or creator store.
You can edit or delete webhooks, and view their logs.
View the logs
Click the three dots next to a webhook and choose View logs.
- Message log: the time, event type and details of each message. Click the details icon for more.
- Delivery log: the delivery status, time and whether the receiving server got the webhook.
Click Copy log at the top right to copy the data, handy when working through a problem with a developer.
Delivery and retries
Webhooks are sent in the background. If the receiving server is down, slow or returns an error, the webhook is not lost. It is retried automatically:
- The first attempt happens shortly after the event.
- After a failure, up to 12 more attempts are made.
- The wait between attempts grows, up to about 24 hours, so delivery keeps being attempted over several days until it succeeds.
