How to connect your IONOS domain to SleepPRO™

Here is how to connect a domain bought at IONOS, so your funnels and blog show at your own address.

First CNAME record

1. Open the DNS zone of your domain in IONOS and click Add a record.
2. Choose CNAME.
3. Enter www in Hostname.
4. Enter the first value from SleepPRO™, ending in cloudfront.net, with the full stop at the end, in Points to.
5. Click Save.

Second CNAME record

1. Click Add a record and choose CNAME.
2. In Hostname, enter the code from SleepPRO™ which comes before your domain, starting with an underscore.
3. In Points to, enter the second value from SleepPRO™, ending in acm-validations.aws.
4. Click Save.

Check your records

Go to dnschecker.org and enter the full name of each record, including your domain. You should see your value with a green tick. If not, check your DNS settings.

Add a redirect

1. In IONOS, go to Domains & SSL, choose your domain and click Change the type of use.
2. Click Redirect domain.
3. Enter your www address, such as www.yoursleepbusiness.com, as the destination.
4. Tick Also configure for www subdomain if you want to include subdomains.
5. Choose HTTP redirection (recommended).
6. Click Save.
