How to build your contact list using a funnel

A funnel is one of the best ways to grow your list of parents. Here is how to set up the form and button to capture their details.

You will need a sales funnel with an opt-in page.

Step 1: build your form

On the page:

1. Click Edit page.
2. Drag the Form input element onto the page.
3. Click the field and choose what to collect under Input type, such as email.
4. Write a placeholder, the hint text parents see in the empty field.
5. Add more fields the same way if you want more details, such as first name.

In a popup:

1. In the editor, click Popups, then +.
2. Click Edit popup settings and build your form like a regular page.
3. To open the popup from a button, set the button's action to Show popup and choose the popup.

Step 2: set up the button

1. Drag a Button element onto your form, on the page or in the popup.
2. Set Action when button clicked to Submit form. This is what adds the parent to your contacts.
3. Choose what happens after sign-up:

• To the next step: the next page of your funnel.
• To the custom URL: a web address you enter.
• No redirection: the parent stays on the page and sees a message you write.
